Your name stays out of it

We do not publish who sent a tip, and we do not pass your details to any agency unless you explicitly ask us to. We ask for a name so we can follow up on details, not to put it in a post.

If what you have is evidence in a criminal case, the right place for it is the investigating agency or a Crime Stoppers line, not a Facebook page. We will tell you so rather than publish it.
